Easy Major or Interesting Major?

Depends entirely on the school. Many universities don’t have different calculus classes for biology majors, so you might be in the same calculus class as the engineering majors.

I am 100% a fan of studying something that you are interested in, even it’s it hard. However…I’m also a fan of being practical. And OP, if you know that law school is your goal (and you are really passionate about the idea of being a lawyer), studying a major in which you can get better grades is really important, because a high GPA is really important for law school admissions. And I was a psychology major; I am not insulted by saying that psychology is an easier major than neuroscience (or engineering). In very general, it is. That doesn’t make it less valuable.

I will say, that if you want to switch to sociology (and psychology at some schools), you will need to like writing papers and thinking theoretically. Sociologists learn about a lot of social theory and write a lot of papers. In good psychology programs with small class sizes there should also be quite a bit of literature review/research paper writing, but not all schools do have that.
