I think for some of them you can just sign up, but for others you have to be approved by the former members/leader people or whoever. also i think a lot of them have chefs to cook for them. ive never heard of them taking turns. but obviously i dont go there so im not sure!

These are your options for upperclassman dining (as an underclassman, you eat in one of the res. college dining halls):

Eating Club - One of ten mansions on Prospect Avenue. You either sign-in (put your name on a list) or bicker (compete to get in). You do this spring of sophomore year and you are in a club Junior and Senior years. You pay a fee and get your meals there. They are cooked for you.

Co-Op - Brown (Omnivorous) or 2D (Vegetarian). Here you take turns cooking meals for everyone in the co-op. You cook in groups of 2 or 3. Usually only have one or two cooked meals a day and get dry food for the other.

Independent - Scrounge up your own food.

RCA - Advise freshmen and sophomores and get free room and food. Food is in dining halls.

4 Year Colleges - NEW! Stay in your residential college (or its pair) and eat in the dining hall just like you used to.
