EC question.

<p>I'm the sports editor for my school's newspaper. Journalism is a class of course, but we voluntarily use our 40 minute study hall to work on the paper, and being the sports editor, my assignments are tougher than most, and my quality expected to be better than most. Can I list this as an EC? Being the sports editor for a good newspaper (we always place near the top in competitions) and spending 40 extra minutes a day is going above and beyond.</p>

<p>If not, how can I mention it? I'm heavily considered majoring in journalism,a nd want to promote what I've done.</p>

<p>Most people I've seen list being on the school paper as an EC, and being an editor is definitely something to list.</p>
