EC Review/Advice

<p>Good scores all around, perfect GPA, not worried about any of my test scores. Got a 220 on the PSAT in 7th grade, 230 in 8th. I just don't know 'bout my ECs, also want some advice on what to list. (currently I am a freshman on hs)</p>

<p>I know like 15 different languages, ie BASIC, VisualBasic, VBS, VB.NET, C, C++, C#, Objective C, PHP, CSS. Should I list these?</p>

<p>For the ones that I am definitely putting:
Started two businesses, one a privacy/encryption software company that does consulting for huge companies and one that is for CSS development.
List of books I have already read (starting in elementary school, currently about 1500 books, many of which are hq)
First place in HS and county sci fair.
Won a few different video editing contests.
Participated in a UC academic talent search program.
Fixed computers for my school in the library, basically ran our IT department for the past semester and a half.
Gigantic list of applications I have developed or codeveloped.
Entering Intel Science Fair with a project that will probably win.
Starting debate club, JSA, and other assorted clubs at my school next year. Will be president of all of them.
Won multiple computer construction contests.</p>

<p>Any tips? I'm still a freshmen in HS so I have a lot of time to do other stuff.</p>

<p>Ok. There is NO reason to even think about what you should list in 3 years from now. For all you know, you will discover an interest in the Trombone and become a world renowned Trombonest by the the time you apply.</p>

<p>You seem to be good at doing stuff around programming. Hopefully that is because you like it and have a talent. Keep doing that and see where it takes you. Check back in Junior year.</p>

<p>“Entering Intel Science Fair with a project that will probably win.”</p>

<p>This is a troll. Move on, people.</p>

<p>see new thread</p>

<p>List of books you have read is useless to include. A lot of people read extensively. That doesn’t make you special. </p>
