What is econ 1 like? Is there an essay writing component? I have seen a couple of the old midterms, and they look like what I did in AP Micro/Macro. Having taken AP Econ, do you think that I can skip lecture and rely solely on the textbook every here and there, and still pass with an A?
Are there quizzes or anything important in discussion?</p>
<p>A score of 4 or 5 on Micro and Macro will give you credit for Econ 1 and 2, respectively. So if you scored high enough, you don’t need to take it. I’d say just take the next level up.</p>
<p>Probably depends on the instructor. When I took it, it was a lot of graph-drawing and short answer, but no essays.</p>
