ECON 100A & 100B vs 101A & 101B

what is the difference between the two sets of upper division classes on economic analysis and economic theory? I know I can satisfy my econ-major graduation requirement with either set but which one would you recommend over the other & why?

ps. to fulfill the requirement, can i take 100 B and 101 A? (i.e. mix and match theory course with an analysis course).

the 100 series is not calculus based, while the 101 is calculus based.

generally people take the 100s, so more people = more competition (but it can be argued the other way for 101- less people less As)

well im more interested in calc-based econ, being an econ-math major.

ive decided to try to do the 101 sequence in the spring (07). is it hard to get into/register for classes before they fill up at berkk?

i never really ran into that problem at my community college... but then, i always registered the first couple of days of registration.
