Econ 101- Gerson vs. Malone

So I'm trying to craft together a potential schedule and I know I will take econ 101. I'm someone who did extremely well in AP micro and macro and I "get it" with econ material. I read some ratemyprof stuff and it seems like people really like malone and are hit or miss with gerson, but still do well if they are good with econ stuff. Does anyone have experience with either or a recommendation of one over another? Thanks.

Absolutely recommend Malone - she’s concise, very straight forward with the material and easy to understand. Gerson, while still a great professor, tends to be a little verbose, off topic sometimes (she sure likes her stories, from what I’ve heard haha). So I would definitely go with Malone!

I heard to take it with Malone.

The difference between Gerson and Malone is negligible, and the class isn’t difficult. I’d recommend taking whichever fits your schedule better.
