i had heard that this class was impossible under elzinga...but i also heard it is best to take with him-does anyone who has taken the class have any suggestions (whether i should take a smaller section - r the exams the same for all classes btw, and would it be a huge reach to get an A or B)

Elzinga is great. According to the course forum the average elzinga GPA is 2.79
A12.6%
A-17.3%
B+9.0%
B11.4%
B-11.7%
C30.6%
etc.etc.
If you want to take it in a small section take the one that Charlie Holt is teaching. He almost never teaches 201, he's awesome seriously.

I've heard Elzinga isn't too bad. Just take his class if it fits in your schedule.

Well, Prof. Elzinga is one of the senior members of the faculty (older than even me, if you catch my drift...) My sources report him as "okay". No raves, no rants.

well according to FSU he's "probably the nation’s most successful teacher of college-level economics" and the Southern Economic Association has a distinguished teaching award named after him, so he must be doing something right.
