i was wondering if anyone can give me more information regarding Econ-Accounting major at CM. i went through the department, but i wasnt quite satisfied by that.
so plz help me.
moreover, i want to know how different is from Accounting program that they offer? is Economics a better option than Econ-Accounting?? btw, i like both accounting and economics.

The Econ-Accounting major is really the Accounting major. Because Accounting does not have its own separate department at CMC, the people who major in it are given the term of being an Econ-Accounting major. In other words, you can graduate from CMC as an econ major or as an econ-accounting major (or as a bio major, a lit major, a psych major, etc.).

If you want to go into business, finance, investment banking, etc., then you are probably better served by being an Econ major. If you want to go work for one of the Big Four accounting firms, then you are probably better served by being an Econ-Accounting major. It really comes down to whatever your career goals happen to be.
