<p>Does anyone have any experience with the major? How is the workload? Also, if you go to another 5C can you still major in it with a CMC degree or will it just be from your home college say Pitzer or Pomona?Also, I hear a lot of CMC grads have great jobs after graduation, would that apply also to grads from the other 5Cs(pitzer)? How about if they majored in accounting at CMC, would they have resource to those jobs and alumni connections? Thanks!</p>

<p>The actual major is economics-accounting. Yes, it is a fantastic major with great professors. The head of the dept, Professor Massoud, is a legend at CMC. Students who graduate with this major typically end up with very good internships and jobs. Many go to the big 4 accounting firms, some to investment banking and others to corporate finance.</p>
<p>I am not sure what happens if you go to another 5C and want to take this major. It may be possible, but it would not be with a CMC degree. Call the registrars office at the school and ask.</p>
