Econ BA vs Econ BS

What are the differing advantages, disadvantages, and opportunities between a BA and BS in econ?

BA = More Foreign Language
BS = Less Foreign Language

That's pretty much it, but it depends on the particular school. If you're a guy I think a BS looks better.

also the BS is more likely to have business classes such as accnt and finance

are you sure about that? i always thought:

BA = more for social science, humanities, etc.
BS = more models, more math, more on the business side.

the econ adviser said a BS in econ is more marketable, b/c it does everything the BA does and a little more.

Once again, it depends on the school; every school is different. Just compare the two programs at your school.

i'm wondering more about the differences between the two post-graduation.

Um, that's kinda already been answered. The difference, for the most part, is just foreign language but that depends on the school.

What school you went to is going to be more important than the BS or BA difference. I picked the BS because it looked more "masculine" on my resume and I was already learning a language on my own.
