I was accepted as an Econ major, and I plan on going to law school so I need a really good GPA. Does Miami deflate or inflate grades? And if so, does anybody who goes there know if they deflate grades in Econ? Is it possible to get a 4.0 if I work hard, or is that not realistic at Miami? I would really appreciate any info
If you are smart enough to handle the work at a decent law school, you won’t have any problems getting good grades at UM. Some professors make it difficult to get A’s by having a 93% cutoff but the work there is not all that hard. The Econ department is pretty good also.
