Econ Major now Pre-Nursing?

Hi, I'm a third year and I have two classes left before I can graduate as an Econ major. I was thinking of either graduating next semester and then start on my prereqs for nursing (I'm prenursing now) at a local community college or I was thinking of taking IB 131/L next year or as many prereqs for nursing as I can at Berkeley. Has anyone taken IB 131? Is it manageable for someone who is pretty weak in the science field? I've been looking at the stats for the various nursing schools I want to go to and I feel like I have a better shot at getting into them by going to community college and get a higher grade there rather than staying at Berkeley and get low grades (I've heard how cutthroat science courses are here at Berkeley). The problem with that is, because schools are so impacted, I'm afraid I won't be able to get the classes I want, which would be a waste of time. I've also thought about setting aside nursing for now and maybe try to write an honors thesis and graduate with honors. How possible would it be for me to write an honors thesis if I basically forgot everything that I learned?

Basically, I'm kind of hesitant to graduate early because Berkeley offers so many great opportunities here. I can stay and take advantage of workstudy or find research opportunities. However, I'm also anxious to start on applying for nursing school, which I can't do without my prereqs. Help anyone?
