macro then micro

ok so at SMC that would be Econ2 and then Econ1… Thanks for the feedback!

I took micro then macro. At my CCC the first 4 chapters of macro was a micro.

Macroeconomics.

at city college of san francisco, you have to take macro before micro.

At UCLA you must take intermediate Micro before taking Intermediate Macro.

Yeah

It depends on your school if they want you to see the big picture or the small picture first.

What about taking both at the same time? That’s what I’m doing this Fall.

For the most part I would say the first 4 chapters or so are the same as they overlap. After that you may have some trouble, but you should be fine.

i took them at the same time too last fall. it’s very easy to take at the same time. the first 4-5 wks u go over the same material. and what u learn in micro helps u understand the concepts in macro, and vice versa. but micro is alot more useful for most people than macro. macro is just studying the economy as a whole…

i did macro then micro. macro is lot more interesting btw.

Doesn’t matter.
