Okay, I had no idea where to put this so I figured it would go best in the Business majors. Anyway, I am a high schooler who is taking some college classes at my local university. I have taken Multivariable Calculus, Statistics, and Principles of Microeconomics. I also plan on taking Intermediate Microeconomics with Calculus and Principles of Macroeconomics next semester. In addition, I really want to take a course called "Advanced Econometrics". Has anyone taken Econometrics before, and if so, would I be prepared even though I do not have tons of economics under my belt but a lot of math? I love economics too, it is probably my favorite subject.

If you take stats before you take econometrics then you will be just fine. You don’t need a ton of economics to understand econometrics. What you have done will be plenty.

Jeezus, are you really still in high school? To advance past Calc 3 while still in high school is pretty impressive. Good luck to you.

Goodness, my thoughts exactly. My girlfriend did multivariant in highschool and I thought that she was doing extremely well. You will be over halfway through a math major in college at this rate haha.

I hated metrics when I started taking it and dropped out of it. It just wasn’t in line with what I want to do and was taking up time in my schedule that could be used for more productive things…nonetheless, it is a pretty advanced course that has a lot of good information.
