Economics PhD program

So, I just received a bachelors of science in international political economy from UT-Dallas. This degree is interdisciplinary, but the bulk of my classes were in economics rather than political science. (Also a bit of chinese language). I am interested in a PhD program in economics either at my current school or Southern Methodist University (Want to stay local in Dallas).

My GPA is 3.957, but I just made my first B+ in a class. I have two A-, the rest are As... The B+ was in intermediate macroeconomic theory. I have As and A+s in considerably harder classes like intermediate microeconomics, international trade, international finance etc...

I am presenting my research to a panel at a pretty high ranking political economy conference in April... I'm told it's pretty unusual for an undergraduate to present at a panel conference. I have some pretty strong letters of recommendation. The B.S. in IPEC lacked some of the math classes that I need for a PhD program (Calc II-III, Linear algebra real analysis, etc), so I'm going back to get those credits and will hopefully do well.

Long story short the B+ sounds like the end of the world right now, especially because its in a core economics class. Can someone please evaluate my chances of being admitted into the SMU economics PhD program?
