Economics with masters or Political Science?

I am entering my freshman year of college this fall at Texas A&M University. It has been my dream since I was little to attend Yale Law School. I am considering getting my degree in Political Science, however, TAMU offers a five-year joint degree where I would receive my Undergraduate degree in Economics, and my Masters in Public Policy. Which would look better to a law school, a Political Science degree, or a degree in Economics with a Masters? Will having my masters make me more competitive?

Thanks!

short answer, No. (Particularly not for Yale.)

The only GPA that matters is undergrad.
