ED and Financial Aid - Final?

I'm kinda confused over the FA in the ED round. I did the CSS/Profile and taxreturns and what not.. but what about FASFA? Will my aid package get re-evaluated after FASFA? My parents told me that the CSS/Profile was just to estimate my aid package, and FASFA is the legit deal, but my parents are not the most informed lol.

What do I need to do now? A little confused..

I have the same question! Does anyone know?

Genius question! I would like to know, too!

Bump

10char

Does anyone know how hard it is to get a Pell grant? Cause Penn estimated I would get one, even w/o the FAFSA… Isn’t this weird?

^ Are you a US citizen, or “Eligible Noncitizen”?

[Student Aid on the Web](http://studentaid.ed.gov/PORTALSWebApp/students/english/Glossary.jsp#elegiblenoncitizen)

If not, it would be impossible.

I am a citizen, but I haven’t filled out the FAFSA yet, which I thought was the basis for all gov’t aid

FAFSA uses a federal formula for computing EFC-very easy to complete and much less comprehensive than the CSS.

Most highly selective privates use their own formula for institutional aid which requires the more comprehensive CSS.

FAFSA can be completed in 10minutes, while multiple hours and extensive documentation required for CSS.

Hope this helps!
