I applied to NYU ED. Can I still continue to apply to schools, but as regular decision? I'm sorry this sounds so ignorant, but I was visiting NYU and they said they could find out if you applied elsewhere (Like Columbia, etc) and toss out your applications. Is that only if you apply ED to more than one school, assuming the schools you apply to are legally binding?

Sorry, long winded. Basically, if I don't apply ED, can I still apply to other schools since I have all ready applied ED to NYU? Thank you!

You can only apply ED to ONE school. You can continue to apply regular to others. If you are accepted at the ED school, you must send letters to all other schools you applied to, asking them to withdraw your applications to their schools.

^^^correct. So you might want to work on your other applications and have them ready, but not actually send them until AFTER you find out your ED result. That way you might save some money on application fees if you're accepted ED.

Thank you! Yes, that is what I thought, but after re-rereading, I realized that my entire paragraph was all jumbled and terrible. Thank you again.
