And I'm still not sure if I'm in the international bunch ><

Have you tried checking your birth certificate? ;)

Where is said sexy party?

Lol, ilovebagels, residents are counted as domestic students too.
Since I'm in the USA already while my immigration is processing, my regional director said I'd be counted as a domestic student, while my financial aid would be counted as International.
Hence, I'm confused as to where I fell into the statistics.

I'm soo worried that if I get accepted, and they don't have any money for internationals, I'll get rejected and never know. Oh well, best to just hope for the best outcome.

Said sexy party will be in Bangalore.

^You Wish!! North India is where it's at :) and I'm part Punjabi so I should know haha.

Haha cool! I'm fully Punjabi! I gotta say, our dance music is incredibly awesome...definitely on par with some of the dance music here in the US. Everybody knows that North Indian girls are the best looking. Therefore, I second njaznpremed and propose that the party takes place up north!

i want to learn indian dance. seriously

haha, have you heard of Dhamaka? it's Indian dance group at Penn.

And oddly, I have done my share of dancing at Penn. Go figure.

Ohhh, I actually want someone to teach me.

Yeah about the same, if you are implying what i think you are.

wait. what exactly am I implying? haha i dont get it.

LOL, wait what did you mean then? >_<

LMAO. my post was pretty straightfoward. i have actually danced (hip-hop) on the Penn campus.

what did you think I meant?

ROFL, now i feel like an idiot. so embarrassing I thought you meant like dancing in parties, cuz I did THAT at Penn. I should never ever read between the lines. I always fail hahaha. But I played violin in Houston hall before. Did you just danced randomly or was it like an organized activity?

LOL @ danced randomly. I can picture now the stares that provoke.

um activity, kinda? it was more during a summer program type...deal...thing...whatever

and yeah i didn't even think of the parties thing although i have also done THAT at Penn. not like college party tho. high school kids.

read b/w the lines? haha, its 1:37AM, I'm too tired to think of any deeper meanings anyway.

I've seen hip pop performed on campus on the compass space that people should not walk over or else they'll fail their finals.

Oh, which summer program? the one on material science?

no, it was a leadership one at wharton.

odd that you mention material science. both my parents majored in that and tell me not to.

did you do a program?

Haha, my dad tells me not to major in engineering, especially mechanical engineering cuz it's so not feminine, and my mom tells me that engineering is too hard. My friends tell me that I'll look like a guy by the time I come out. W/e, stereotypes suck anyways. I got into the program on material science, but I chose to go to Gov school instead. Was your program overnight or just during the day?

mines was for a month and I lived there um june 29-july26

what exactly is this gov school?

Ohh cool, so you actually lived in Penn dorms?

I'm not sure which state you are from, but PA has 8 gov schools. Each one specializes in a career path ex. for arts, science, information and technology, health care, agricultural sciences etc. I went to one for health care. Each gov school is located in a college somewhere in PA. health care is in U of pitt. So I lived there for 5 weeks last summer, from June 23rd to July 26th I think. We basically had lectures on different professions in health care and had to write a 10-page research paper, minimum of 75 page reflective journal, and have a plan to implement a project in our community by the end of gov school. We also had activities such as going to amusement park, baseball games, etc. IT was AWESOME. Going to the program at penn probably would have increased my chance of getting in SEAS, but I don't regret at all that I went to Gov school :)

Oh yeah, it's also free. Gov school = Governor's school
