please? back up

IMO you have a decent shot at all of them except Stanford. Stanford's just ridiculous, you need to be close to perfect in terms of grades and scores to get in there. THe others I think you have a chance. You're grades and tests are good enough and you have good ECs. I would say the only guarantees are the ones you put as safeties, with the Ivies and the schools of that level its pretty much a crapshoot, but your definitely qualified.

Columbia (ED) - Reach
University of Chicago (EA) - Lower reach
University of Michigan (rolling) - high match
Stanford - reach
UPenn - reach
Haverford - not familiar with it
Northwestern - high match/low reach
NYU - high match/match
Johns Hopkins - match
George Washington (safety)
University of Washington- Seattle (safety)

Good luck!

to the top again...offer's still good, of course

and back up

okay so this is what i think...

Columbia (ED) - Low Reach (ED looks good tho so maybe High Match)
University of Chicago (EA) - Match
University of Michigan (rolling) - High Match
Stanford - Reach
UPenn - High Match
Haverford - Safety
Northwestern - High Match
NYU - Safetyish (pretty much in)
Johns Hopkins - Match
George Washington- Safety
University of Washington- Seattle- Safety

if you could chance me that would be great! :)

bump

...again

please chance...gracias

nice work!

I think you will make it to most of the schools you apply to. you have a distinct situation and have EC's that stand out. you also have the academic foundation to back everything up, and the athletics to balance it out. Stanford and UPenn will both be a little bit of a reach, and will depend on a lot of prayers homie. You might make it to one of those two. Columbia is a slight reach, but as long as your REC's and essays are great, you should be a strong candidate to all of them. none of these are out of your league.

good luck and please chance me back! thanks!

any more...? bump

anyone else?

anyone else? pleasssse

again.....

Did you get into Columbia?

Columbia (ED) - reach

University of Michigan (rolling) - match
Stanford - high reach
UPenn - reach
Haverford - high match
Northwestern -low to mid reach
NYU -match
Johns Hopkins -mid reach
George Washington (safety) -IN
University of Washington- Seattle (safety) -IN

Columbia (ED) -reach
University of Chicago (EA) - reach
University of Michigan (rolling) - match
Stanford -reach
UPenn -reach
Haverford -match
Northwestern -low reach
NYU - match
Johns Hopkins - low reach
George Washington - in for sure
University of Washington- Seattle in for sure

Hey, good stuff. This is what I think:

Columbia (ED) - reach, but its a reach for everyone.
University of Chicago (EA) - reach, but not a huge one
University of Michigan (rolling) - Hard to say, they might think you’re using them as a safety, so good essays are important. Otherwise, though, you’re in.
Stanford - big reach
UPenn - reach
Haverford - high match
Northwestern - small reach
NYU - match/low match
Johns Hopkins - low reach/high match
George Washington (safety) - in
University of Washington- Seattle (safety) - in with honors/money etc.

chance back?!? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/813811-chances-last-time-i-promise.html

Columbia (ED): Low-Reasonable Reach, w/ ED (50-60%)
University of Chicago (EA): Low Reach
University of Michigan (rolling): In
Stanford: Reasonable-BIG Reach (for anyone, haha)
UPenn: Low-Reasonable Reach
Haverford: Low-Reasonable Reach (one of the best LAC’s in the country)
Northwestern: Safety-Match
NYU: In
Johns Hopkins: Low Reach
George Washington (safety): In
University of Washington- Seattle (safety): In

You seem in pretty good shape for Columbia ED and the rest of your list is very well thought-out. Your GPA is Ivy material, your boards are excellent, although a little out of ballpark range for schools like Stanford, UPenn, Haverford, and Columbia (but the ED helps here). Your EC’s are strong and the internship for the US Congresswoman is stand-out… if the recs and essays are solid, then you should be in very good shape :)

PLEASE CHANCE ME BACK!!! Thanks!

and I just realized this was from last year, lol -__-
