Applying to Wharton:

Senior year AP courses:

AP Microeconomics
AP Calculus BC
AP Psychology

decent extracurriculars, essays, and recs. (good, but nothing incredible)

Double legacy + ED + Good Scores = Automatic acceptance…

^ I wouldn’t say automatic acceptance but you definitely have a very good chance.

Your username seems familiar…I think I saw a similar chance post before. Anyway, I think you have a very good shot, especially with double legacy applying early decision! It also is amazing how your have a near perfect SAT, perfect SAT IIs, and 5’s on every AP you took… I wish I had your test scores!!

I’m just confused about the 4.17 Weighted GPA. How does your school calculate weighted? (My school counts AP as .1 extra credit and honors level as .05.) What is your unweighted?

Also, what do you mean by “decent” ECs, essays, and recs tho? Leadership/evident commitment in extracurriculars would make you even more well-rounded. Any business-related activities/internships or something similar would probably help. Wharton’s obviously crazy competitive but, judging by your scores, I would say you are definitely in the ball park. Good luck!

It’s a 4.0 scale, honors classes boost each grade by .333 and AP classes by .666 (ex: a regular A is the same an as honors A- or an AP B+)

By decent, I just mean nothing that stands out, but definitely a solid resum
