<p>I think you’ve got a decent shot, grades, ecs, etc are quite strong and your test scores aren’t great but they aren’t horrible.</p>

<p>Being in South Carolina helps, being Asian doesn’t.</p>

<p>If I recall correctly, Secret Asian Man is correct. I’ve heard from admissions officer that Duke University reserves approximately 15% of its entire undergraduate class for North/South Carolina students. But thank you for all the advice. I certainly do and will be working to get that SAT score up.</p>
