ED CHANCES? (Sorry, ik so many of these but im bugging)

<p>So I fell in love with the school when I visited, decided to ED. I think I wrote a good essay, so that could be to my advantage... Do you think I have a chance even with low GPA and average SAT? I think EC's and essay could make up for it. I have had an upwards trend and I just really want to go to Lehigh :/ Had a 4.1 GPA first marking period of this year so if they ask for mid-year score, that could be to my advantage I guess.</p>

<p>1850 SAT ( 570R 610M 670W) 3.56 GPA in a top ranked public school in NJ, Parents got divorced my Soph year took a bit of a hurting on my GPA...</p>

<p>EC's: ALJBS ( American legion jersey boys state= leadership week that teachers at my school nominated me for), International Board of my Jewish youth organization, Treasurer for school Student Council, 3 year Varsity Baseball Player, Chem club, Treasurer of Jewish
Culture club, Summer Camp Counselor for special education kids, Community service: taught special education elementary school children how to play soccer, </p>

<p>important Classes:
Freshman: Honors Geometry, World History, Bio, Spanish 2, English 1 Honors
Soph: Algebra 2 Honors, Chem, Honors US 1, Spanish 3, English 2 Honors
Junior: Math Analysis ( Trig/precalc Honors), AP Chemistry, US 2, Spanish 4, British Literature Honors
Senior: AP Literature, AP Calc AB, Physics, MCP Humanities( college level class like art history)</p>

<p>I’d say Lehigh is a match for you. I agree that you’re SATs are a little low, considering 1180 is just below the 25th percentile of 1200. But if your essays were as good as you claim, and they like your EC’s, then you have a good shot! Which school are you applying for?</p>

<p>Thanks! Undecided Engineering, I know based on my EC’s and whatever I should have applied for business but, I can’t change that now!</p>

<p>Well actually I think I heard during my visit that this year they’re ignoring major/school when they’re making decisions. That could help!</p>
