I am an Asian Male ( :frowning: ), want to go into earth engineering

GPA 4.0 unweighted (all A’s) 4.41 weighted 9-12, 4.69 weighted 10-12
ACT 35 (36 in math and science)
SAT 2: taking physics, math 2, and us history oct. 1

Classes: 9th: Honors Biology, Honors English 1, Honors Geometry, Art, Spanish 2, PE, Health class
10th: Honors Physics, Honors Chemistry, Honors Algebra2/Trig, Business class, AP World History, Honors English 2, Spanish 3
11th: AP Economics (micro and macro), AP US History, AP language /comp, AP PHysics 1, AP Chemistry, Honors Pre-Calculus
12th: AP Calculus BC, AP Physics C, AP Literature, AP Government US

AP Scores all 4’s and 5’s (self-studied environmental science in 10th grade) 8 total not including 12th grade classes

Extracurriculars: Internship with a distinguished professor at university in environmental engineering, sponsored by NASA, National Department of Energy, etc
Speech and Debate 4 years: Captain of Speech Events, first in league in a speech event, qualified to national tournament last year
FBLA: 4 years, business chair of board, qualified to state and national tournament last year, 8th in my event at nationals
Volunteered at Library for 3 years, planning activities and encouraging kids to read during summers
National Honor Society for 3 years
STEM for 4 years, on science and engineering teams
Health Occupation Students of America for 2 years, head of accounting committee
Part of a club called Helping Hands for 4 years, worked with special needs children by planning activities and playing games and reading to them.

I think you have really good chances! Always with Ivies, it’s a toss up, but with the great ACT, grades, and the especially great extracurricular activities (cool internship), and with ED helping you out, you have a good chance of getting in. Good luck!!!

by earth engineering, do you mean environmental engineering? if so you should definitely go for it and do ed to their fu seas school! you’d have a decent shot and i can see you getting in
