ED Class of 2012 Discussions only - Not for results

I have a 31 ACT and I know that is equivalent to a 2100 and that is above the average for Cornell

yes i sent in a 31 ACT as well…momo i think our scores just qualify us for being the type of student cornell would accept ED and now our extra stuff will just have to reinforce it..

which college?

no worries boys and girls until wednesday at 5…no sense to fight over it now!

i’m just so nervous

i think about how unbelievable and amazing it is going to feel to get in..but then it hits me like what if i don’t get in…how terrible is that going to be?

Really, dang, I’m applying for engineering

soo nervous. my 630 in CR is going to KEEEEEEEEL my chances.
and my 1st quarter grades are horrible.. 2 C+s. i hope they look at semester grades and not 1st quarter.

the 630 is actually JUST in the range haha…but it won’t be the nicest thing to have i guess you could say

is 660CR 700M 710W + 670LIT 710US ‘in range’ for CAS

i got a 750 for math, i’m afraid the gaps between CR and math might be too high. =(
and also, i took 8 APs but i got a B- in Calc BC junior year so i have a 3.96 weighted GPA. not that great either..

Do you guys know anything about college of engineering, and their average scores etc…

speaking of killing chances… how about a 660 bioE SATII for a bio major. Ouch!

My scores include a SAT 620 W 650 CR and 720 Math, on ACT 34 Math 32 English 31 Science, and 28 Reading, I also have a 740 Physics and 730 Math2c

now is not the time to ponder scores! forget you even have scores!

my thoughts are that the SAT II’s wont kill you unless they are under 600 or if you get 650ish on one that is your intended field of study…

also, i think that anything above 670 on each section for ED should be in range for Cornell, but pushing it for CAS

i think the only thing we can do is wait.
this suspense is killing me.

ya i do think though out of everything the scores are the most easily forgettable unless they are really bad like under 620 on each section

^^ agree! i am not patient.. no idea how i’ve lasted this long…

do any of you know when upenn comes out?
theres like a mass influx of 40 ppl applying ED to upenn in my school. cuh-razyyy

is CAS harder to get into?

So we have 5 days and 19 hours remaining until Judgement Day!! Dun Dun Duunhhhh!!!
