ED class of 2020

I wonder how hard it is to get into Olin ED. I am pretty sure I am the only one from my school who ED to Olin but there were like 3 or 4 others who ED to CAS.

I think it’ll be the 8-10 because it always allows 3-5 business days before the 15th

Did anyone applying to Olin submit their resume’? I felt like it was sort of redundant so I didn’t, but I don’t know if I should have.

yeah i submitted it, and it did feel redundant. I called WashU and they explained that its helpful so that applicants can put all their info in one place…I was like…isn’t that just what the commonapp is for? idk

He told me “the Monday before the 15th” (he being the older brother). My friend told me it was December 6th so that is likely wrong sorry!! I should delete that now thanks for clarifying @Zorbinger

Haha its ok just wanted to make sure…lol im freaking out too :open_mouth:

Hopefully Olin ED is a little more accepting because I know their SAT average is pretty high (1480 CR+M). I just hope my business focused ECs pull me through!

I hate how WashU gives you #of applicants per school, but then doesn’t give you #of admitted only #enrolled.

I applied PoliSci/Psychology!

I heard somewhere that it’s 200 for entering Olin but don’t quote me on that because that is just from memory from a long time ago.

anyone have any statistics on people getting in for Biology?

I know for sure that engineering and computer science usually has people with the highest stats…then i think its premed major…after that maybe business…honestly idk

@Hopeful2020 Yeah that’s the about the amount of people enrolling in Olin for last year’s freshmen class. Now I wish they told us their admit rate.

I don’t think that many people ED to Olin considering last year they only had 3,873 applicants overall for the school. But who knows?

haha im just praying my low gpa can be offset by my other things but with so many good applicants idk…

btw so their admit rate for ED is actually 42%

Where did you find that?

That 42% is from the News World ranking. However, I don’t really think it will be 42% this year again.

If we go on the pathway we can submit scholarships. I thought we had to pay for each scholarship application we submit is that not a thing?

@Hopeful2020 why do you think so?

I hope it’s 42 but something tells me it isn’t. Don’t know why. On a positive note, 42 is amazing. But that also contains all the althletes.

Anyone think it may come out tomorrow?
