ED Deferral

So, I was just deferred from Wellesley ED. I'm wondering now if I should do ED2 at Smith college (my 2nd choice), or if I should hold out for Wellesley. Does anyone know how hard it is to get accepted after being deferred? I know they accept about 20%, but I'm wondering what you need to do to be accepted, like if you need to send them an update letter. Has anyone been deferred ed and accepted rd (or know someone who was), and what did they do?
Thanks in advance

Strongly suggest that you apply to Smith, Mt. Holyoke and Bryn Mawr. These schools are also excellent but slightly to somewhat easier for acceptance. Otherwise, you must realize that deferral is a crapshoot at Wellesley as in any top tier school.

i think u should just apply RD for smith. By applying RD, u can have more choices between colleges
