ED Deferral?

I've heard that they ARE deferring ED applicants this year.

But would that mean that I could send in more marks and it's a whole new application, or does it basically just mean that they decide on the same application later?

I can deal with acceptance or rejection, but deferral? AIEEE.

i prefer rejection to deferral...

I think we all do.

I've heard that even if they have it, it'll only be extreme cases. If you get deferred, just view it as a rejection. If you end up getting in afterwards, it'll be like a really pleasant surprise. =)

hahahah thaaanks sondosia such a comfort :p

I had a nightmare that an admissions rep for NU walked into our classroom one day and said, "To the three people who applied to Northwestern, I'm very sorry. You've been deferred." and walked out.
(ps. in real life though i'm the only one from my school applying :p)

^^ that'd be pretty awful. I think I'm the only one from my county applying... Mostly people go in-state and a few go Ivy.
