ED/EA Applications to Safeties

<p>Should someone apply early decision/early action to their safeties, or to their reaches?</p>

<p>I know that in some places that are difficult to get in to, one's chances of acceptance are increased by applying ED/EA. On the other hand, if someone applies to their safety early, they would get in and not have to worry about not knowing where they're going.</p>

<p>For example, next year I'm applying to JHU, Princeton, and a bunch of other schools. I am fairly confident that if I applied to JHU ED/EA I would have a high chance of getting in. On the other hand, I really want to apply to Princeton ED/EA as well. Which one should I apply ED/EA to?</p>

<p>JHU is ED, so if you get in, you'll have to go.
If princeton is your dream school, go for Princeton ED.</p>

If u dont get in, apply to ur safeties RD</p>

<p>thats what most ppl do here..</p>

<p>do it unless of course ur top priority school is a safety</p>
