My current list for where I'm going to apply is:

Emory
Tulane
U Miami
Rollins
GWU

I'm thinking of applying ED I to Emory and Early Action to Tulane and UMiami but RD for the others. However, I feel like Emory, Tulane, and UMiami are still too much of reaches for me and I'm wondering if applying ED/EA will even help.

My stats are:

1930 SAT (710 CR, 550 M, 670 W) - I'm retaking in October to increase my Math score
3.85 UW and 4.3 W GPA
Top 15% in a highly competitive high school
and a few EC's I'm very passionate about.

Also, I'm going to a 2 week Emory Pre-College program this summer, so I'm not sure if that increases chances at all?

I'd really appreciate any sort of insight from people with experience with EA/ED decisions for any similar school! Thank you!

You can’t apply Ed and ea

Yea the summer event will help show your interest and also do college interviews. They help show your interest and increase your chances unless you Mess up the interview

Ed especially can almost double your chances at getting accepted to the college . Ea not so much . Before you apply, know the restrictions between ea and ed

I actually think you have a nice chance at Umiami … It would be much better if you increase your math score … since Umiami does not look at writing try getting your math to the 1300-1350 range (CR+M) Right now your at 1260

Mind chancing me?? :)
