ED financial aid success? Problems?

Ok, Nan, time to write your book. I'll put it on my recommended reading list for those looking to apply ED and need financial aid. Now throw in a few chapters that explain the FAFSA and Profile, and you'll be set. : - )

parentny: email me your concern as I will try to help you as much as possible.

kirmum, I'd definitely check with the school first to find out when their financial aid packages were released in previous years, before applying ED.

frazzleddad, thanks. The warnings and advice are all very important. However, it's also important to hear about the times when it worked, because everyone did their homework, and it turned out to be the right thing to do.

jamimom, there's a thought! I'm afraid going through this one time hardly qualifies me to be writing books about it. But then there's my nephew, who is just getting started - I'll pick up some experience there, for sure. And I have been sizing up a few neighbor kids wondering what kind of help they'll need... But wait a minute! From what I've read here, that's your story. We want your book!

To illustrate how far the discussions on ED date on CC, I provide this link:

It brings CC'ers back to a time when Dave Berry was leading the discussions.

As far as well-researched texts, I enjoyed reading a report of the Endeavor Foundation.

The controversy about ED won't go away soon, and neither will ED!
