Do we have to submit these if we're applying ED II? If so, should we have submitted them by now? Tbh, I can't find any info on their website about this.

Thanks.

If you check your CA account, you will probably see the answer (which is yes…)

I’m sorry, but what is the CA account? I received an email saying they got all the necessary application materials, but they didn’t give me a number (unlike the other colleges). I’m guessing that’s not supposed to happen then?

Whoa, I thought you didn’t get an e-mail from them until they got all the required documents (and yes, mid-year report is required). I just sent in my mid-year on Friday (they said it was okay through the phone), but I haven’t gotten any e-mail confirmation since submitting the EDII app.

Has anyone else not gotten anything?

CA- Common App.

What is the mid-year report? Does it include classes you are currently taking?

The midyear report is like the report the counselor sends at the beginning of the year, but will have mid year grades. The counselor can also add/change comments, etc.

Schools send them out at different times - because semesters end at different times. Eventually schools have a deadline. Obviously ED applications will not require a mid year report before the decisions are sent, but schools still want to see them to make sure you are not loafing. I suspect that even for EDII, they might not get there in time for many students.
