ED acceptees - mid-year reports??

Does anyone already accepted into UPenn via early decision (or current students) know if counselors have to send mid-year reports to UPenn? And/or transcripts of 1st semester grades?
Thanks :)

Yes, counselors do have to send both mid-year reports and final year reports which include first and second semester grades, respectively.

Anyone know if the Commonapp will generate an email to the counselor asking for the mid-year report (like it did for the secondary school report)?

bumppppppppppppppppp

I saw this on the Columbia thread as an answer to whether you have to send a mid-year report if you got in ED.
Anyone else know if Penn requires the midyear report?
The to-do list they sent with the acceptance letter doesn’t say you need to, it just requires final approval(final grades).

I am almost positive it depends on the preference of your senior counselor.

I’ve someone email Penn, and they said the mid-year reports “were not required”.

bump
anyone else know?

I called the admissions office and a representative said that the mid-year report is required even for accepted ED students.

okay then…completely mixed answers. Guess I’ll just send…

bump, i wanna know if we need to or not lol

same question…
any upperclassmen know?

bummppppp—

Why not just send it in? -.-

ot a C- in multivariable this past quarter… even though all my other grades are As, I don’t want to risk anything.

Ah, gotcha. But, it’d be on your final transcript anyway…?

nope. quarter grades won’t be on there. only the final grades of each year go on the final transcript. And I’m positive I’ll have a B- or so by the end of the year.

Ill just send anyway. Not like one C and all As can get me rescinded.

finally penn’s admissions office emailed me back saying that sending only at the end of the year is fine. Looks like I’m saved.

Ahaha, nice. Try emailing your regional admissions officer next time? That’s what I do and it’s typically pretty fast.
