ed ii / regular chances?

competitive public school
gpa: 3.76 weighted (senior year so far -- 4.8)
rank: top 20%
sats: 750r 720m 800w
sat ii: 750lit 740us 690bio
ap: gov5 us4
current schedule: 1 standard class, 1 honors class, 3 ap classes
ecs: editor-in-chief of lit mag, club president, student gov member, editor for local teen paper, camp counselor

I'm really not sure how your GPA system works, but from the looks of it, your GPA might be low. A 3.76 weighted on what appears to be a 5 scale? Do you know your unweighted GPA on a 4.0 scale, or maybe out of a 100 scale? Your SATs and ECs are fine, but your GPA could hurt you.

your scores and EC's are quite competitive
your GPA/class rank sucks
50-50 chance? at least

thanks, guys.
my gpa is on a 4.0 scale. i know it isn't good. it must be like a 3.4 unweighted or something, but my school doesn't do unweighted. oh, well. i sent my application in a couple days ago and emailed them seeing if i could switch it to ed ii, and they said yes, of course, they would switch it, so now i've just got a month of waiting, no matter what my chances are...
