ED Procrastinators

The stress I building up, along with a ton of school work resulting from 4 AP class and bunch of extracurricular, sports, and service duties.
Who else is procrastinating on their early decision application to Cornell? Let me know I'm not alone.
My parents finished my financial aid app and sent it already. We did the CSS Profile together. One of my teachers has sent my recommendation already. I have to nag my other teacher and my guidance counselor to hurry up with theirs. I havent started my common app and supplement. I finished my main essay and I'm merely sitting on it and making tweaks to it. I'm about half way done and barely started on my short answer and supplement essay respectively. Next weekend I have all 3 days filled with stuff to do outside of homework and college stuff. I'm barely getting 5 hours sleep every school night just with homework (our school's elite classes are INSANE). I'm just getting so stressed out.
I made up my mind, I HAVE to send out my common app and supplement THIS WEEK! One of these days, I'll just pull an all-nighter and finish this bs. I don't want to do it right on the deadline cuz it might make the wrong impression. Who else hasn't sent out their ED application yet? And when are you planning to do so? Does anyone else sympathize with my stress? Now I'm rambling, this is what happens when you're sleep-deprived.

you sound just like me :)

I am applying ED and still working on everything, but my school gives us 3 days off next week just for early decision kids, so thats good.

i'm still working too and plan on getting it in this week too for the same reasons as you but look at the bright side..filling out the common app and the supplement really are not hard at all, in fact they don't take much thought. you can't really do anything more about your GC and 2nd teacher except hope that they get off their ___ and start working but heres the thing i handed in my cornell stuff to one teacher about a month ago and he is doing it this week, so you really just need to go along with it. then sending in your scores takes abotu an hour if you have to do sat and act or anything else. lastly, the essays.......these take the absolute longest because each time you finish a draft you get scared and wanna tweak it which is fine but just get them done asap and the pretty much everything else will come into place REALLY quickly

you sound just like me. wow. it is scary. actually it is really frightening, thats like my life.

you are notttt alone :(

grrrr just thought i would vent a little bit here. i finished my cornell supplemental essay over a month ago but after some advice i have been "highly recommended" to write a new essay (YEAY!) so now im basically the same a a huge procrastinator.
