If I am applying ED to Wharton, and I do not get accepted, I heard there is a chance that they can accept me into CAS. First of all, is this true? Second, that will not be binding, correct?

If you apply ED to Wharton and are deferred, you will be considered for RD admission to Wharton. They will not switch your application to another Penn school for RD. The only exception to this is if you apply ED to a dual-degree program, such as Huntsman, in which case you are given the opportunity on your application to identify one of the dual-degree schools–Wharton or CAS–for which you wish to be considered if you are not accepted to the dual-degree program (either through ED or RD).

RD acceptance is never binding, even if your application started as ED but was deferred to RD.

Great thanks.
