ED/Regular decision applicants?

I have a weird question for those who know. I got the Founder scholarship; could i save it to later years? I mean i will pay the 1st & 2nd years and the scholarship covers the whole tuition for the third year; could that happen?

I’ve been offered a place but would receive merit scholarship information by mail. Since I’m currently international(U.K.), I’ve received a FedEx email and expect to get packet by today. Does anyone know if Denison meets full financial need and what the max merit award is?

Just got my admissions packet, the university offered me $25,000 worth of merit aid(founders scholarship), I also get a $1,000 international student grant. In my case 100% of my need was covered. Although the offer isn’t unconditional and they do expect you to do as well as predicted in your final year or else they may withdraw their offer.

Son got a Big Envelope today! Received an Alumni Award! And a free trip! Denison is one of his top choices and was a reach for him. Ohio colleges have been especially welcoming and generous to our B- student from MA. Take note! We are thrilled he has some excellent choices…and much more merit money than we could have imagined - more than any of his east coast safety schools. Now he has to choose! Lucky duck. Do I sound happy and relieved?? Woo Hoot!

@nohelicopter Congrats, where else did your son apply to?

Envelope arrived and my daughter was offered $24K merit award. Thought she had a good chance at the $45K award based on her stats and how much the interviewer raved about her. They may very well be out of the running based on other awards at schools she has ranked higher. They did provide air Denison cert for a free trip, so perhaps they still get another look yet.

@lexluthor5 What’s your Daughter’s top choice?

Received my FA package today…24k$ per year!

@vonmiller son got nice awards from Ohio Wesleyan. Wittenberg basically offered him merit at his interview but he declined to apply. Waitlisted at Miami however :frowning: Still I am glad as the smaller school is a better option for him. Haven’t heard back from his eastern schools, but I suspect he will NOT get as warm a welcome. Location, location, location.

My D has decided to enroll at Denison! Anyone else decided?

Sent deposit for our son however he is deferring for a year to take a gap year to study in spain

@firstborn That’s great, sure your son will have a great experience spending a year in Spain!

My kid is committed, go Big Red!
