<p>Anyone know when we find out the early decision results Dec 15 or 8th?</p>

<p>Just wondering…how do you know that it is one of those two dates specifically?</p>

I’ve seen this date on the College Board site, and my interviewer referenced it. I even think that Penn indicates this date as ED day.</p>

<p>December 15th is when they are currently going to release decisions, but it is likely that they wil release them sooner.</p>

<p>In 2010 results were released on Friday December 10 at 3 pm.</p>

<p>Anybody know when they were released last year (December 2011)?</p>

<p>Maybe we can detect some type of a pattern, eg, 2nd Friday in December?</p>

<p>December 15 is a Saturday so my guess is that date is unlikely.</p>

<p>I think it is always the second Friday…so Dec 14th this year would make sense</p>

<p>Last year: Friday, December 9, 2011 (at 5 PM EST, if memory serves).</p>

<p>My guess this year would be Friday, December 7th, or Monday, December 10th, give or take a day.</p>

<p>If it’s done as it has been the last few years, you’ll receive an email within a week or so with the exact date and time, and that info will also be posted here (which is where you’ll log in to get your decision):</p>

<p>I called admissions and they said December 15th. Makes sense since the deadline was extended for five days.</p>

<p>^ The deadline also was extended last year due to a freak October blizzard in the Northeast, and decisions still were released on Friday, December 9th. I wouldn’t be surprised if a member of the support staff was just giving you the traditional, default, middle-of-December date when you called, rather than the actual date to be determined by the Dean and Admissions Committee. I could be wrong, but you should be officially notified of the actual date within a week or so. :)</p>
