Does anyone have the Early Decision statistics for Northwestern University for the past few years?

What do you mean "ED statistics"? What are you trying to find out?

Like for Early Decision applicants, what were the statistics of who applied/got deferred/rejected for the past years if that stuff is available

I have those for my HS, but that'd be pretty useless to you since my school is completely atypical. Try this nift "search function"

Check the common data set.

NU Statistics for the 2006-07 school year:

Overall acceptance rate: 30%
ED acceptance rate: 44%
25% of freshman class enrolled from ED

hey- does anybody know what hte ED rate (or RD rate too) is to SESP? Or is there anyway to find the # of applicants and acceptances to each of the individual schools at northwestern?

=O 44%...I'm so screwed... It'll be like 40% this year.
2 in 5 people. That's lovely. Just what I need! xD

40% chance isn't TOO bad when you think about it. All those crazy kids applying to hyp and the ivies only have a 10-21% chance.

I don't know the SESP acceptance rate but it's the smallest department in the university. I think they only take like 50 freshmen and the whole school is like 350. I saw this on their web site when I was learning about NU. Maybe the acceptance rate is there or you could call and ask.

So how are the ED applicants? Are they usually REALLY strong? Like 2300 SAT and 10,000 EC's with just as many awards? xD
