Hey Kids!

Yesterday I went to the open house at the deis, decided it was the place for me, and am now applying ED1 to the school (it was a top choice of my mine but now I really want to go there). The people there seemed so down to earth and friendly.

Recs: 3 teachers, my French teacher will explain that I couldn’t fit in AP French to my schedule. I hope they are good.

One thing:
As Schools Match Wits (our local quizbowl) got cancelled this year thanks to network management changes. I took charge and created a petition to bring it back, and I am writing my essay about the work I have done for that (and relating it back to me the person). <promotion> If you are from the western mass area and somehow knew about As Schools Match Wits, message me. I will link you to the petition. </promotion>

So now that I’ve done a lot of bragging on the internets, I’d like to know my chances with the 'Deis. Along with this, do I have a shot at merit money. Brandeis is my number one choice and I would still want to go without it. But to not have to pay all of that 42,000 because I got merit money would rock a lot.

Also, is it too late to get an interview in time for ED1.
