ED1 vs ED@

My son was just reading the Colby thread, and saw a post by a woman whose son was accepted at Colby RD, but turned down at Conn College RD. ALL of the info I see says that Colby is "Most Selective" and Conn College is "More Selective," so my son was hoping that ED2 would work for him. His stats are on another thread, high ACTs, took very rigorous courses, junior year went down to an 89, that worries him.

Question: Is ED2 just as bad getting in as RD? We have financial concerns, we are trying to get all of our info together, etc. I would appreciate it if anyone knows anything. Thanks in advance,
Adigal

I think that selectivity wise, the two schools are extremely similar.

I do know that a male applying ED to Conn will definitely be an advantage, as they are gradually trying to balance out the gender ratio
