ED1 ???

I’m a senior and just took the ACT for the first time in September and scored a 31. I completely miscalculated the time during the reading section and scored a 21 !!!. Other scores : Math (36), English (35), Science (33), STEM (35). I’m scheduled to retake the ACT on October 28th. Is that too late for Tufts November 1st deadline ? Is it too risky for me to send the new score without me seeing it first? I don’t know if I can get another 36 in Math, so do I send my first ACT score and have it superscored…or will they see a 21 in reading and just reject me?

It is not too late and they will superscore, so send both.

For candidates applying Early Decision I, Tufts will accept standardized test scores from exams taken in October and November. Scores should be sent directly to Tufts from the testing agency. They do not need to be rushed. Make a note in the testing section of The Common Application that your scores are forthcoming. [/quote}
