<p>I jsut recently received an Email saying my EFC was updated, increased $. i sent in verification at one school, could this have been the reason why the EFC changed on my fafsa?</p>
<p>That could be it, schools can apparently change things if they get different information.</p>
<p>Ask the school what they changed. They should be able to tell you.</p>
<p>The school may also send the changes in to the Feds (we do for all of our students who attend). If so, you will get a revised SAR (Student Aid Report) which will identify with a # sign which elements were changed by the school.</p>
