<p>Common App registers payment as submitted 1/1/09, but it says the effective payment date is 1/2/09.</p>
<p>Is everyone submitting today in big trouble?</p>

<p>They know that payments can take a day or two to process. I applied ED and I remember my payment wasn't effective until a couple days after the deadline - then it wasn't even downloaded until about a week later, so I'd say you're fine.</p>
<p>Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about it. As long as they get the application on time, you should be good.</p>
<p>I submitted everything last night at about 8pm Central. Will they still accept this even though the common app website says this?? </p>

<p>^ yes, I think so.. I mean, they downloaded it, so I guess that means they've accepted your application..?</p>
<p>really, i dont think that the midnight deadline on 01/01 is THAT big of a deal. i think as long as they accepted the application there isn't any penalty...although i'm gonna check tomorrow by calling the admissions office, because i turned mine in 20 mins late.</p>
