<p>GPA: 3.6 uw (thing that really hurt me was math last year, but i have straight A's in calc this year so midyear report should help explain that issue)

<p>Numerous awards and recognition on national, state, and school level such as ranked in the top 50 debaters in the nation. if specific details effects your opinion let me know and i can tell you what they were.</p>

<p>I feel recs are solid: 2 solid teachers, debate coach/teacher, also got one from my rabbi/boss/duke alumni</p>

<p>I felt essay was great: personal and showed who i was (or at least my dad, counselor and I think so haha)</p>

<p>Also did the optional essay. idk if doing the essay in and of itself helps you but i feel that mine was fairly solid. </p>

<p>Despite itsme’s comment, I feel you have as good of a chance as anybody else. Your scores are very good, your grades are nice (especially your recent ones), and you have completed a rigorous schedule. I really like your ECs as well. Duke is hard for anyone, but I think you’re a great candidate.</p>
