Yes, yes, I shouldn’t have waited until the last minute, etc. I know! But I did it anyways.
I just submitted my supplement for Cornell, except that it was due on 1/2, and here I am 8 minutes into 1/3. I had tried uploading it at around 11:45, but the server was unavailable (ugh! So stressful! But it’s my fault in the first place.) I know it’s no excuse for procrastination, but still… Will they even be able to tell it was sent in late? Should I call the office on Monday just to make sure my application won’t be thrown out?
I doubt 8 minutes late would make a difference. I’m sure there are people who send theirs in a few days late
Absolutely it makes a difference. Thousands of people got it in early or on time. If you can’t get an app in on time, why would they assume you would get to class on time?
Unless there was a documented outage of the sever, they will likely disqualify your application. I’d call first thing Monday morning.
I’ll think good thoughts for you.
Oh, also call Common App ASAP and document your issues. They appear to have been having issues last night.
Hmm, well, Cornell sent me an email saying they received my application and they gave me an applicant ID. Is this a good sign?
