Well, after the core classes (math, science, history, english, language)

and after fine arts (music or art)

how do you pick your electives?

I'm debating whether to pick mostly computer electives or B.S. fun electives

computer electives are fun for me. Except for the ones like computer apps which is just a waste of time.

if the rest of your schedule is already pretty difficult, pick fun electives to make things a bit easier for yourself(unless you really enjoy computer electives then do that).

Well, you can use electives to either get ahead or relax. Computer electives are fairly entertaining (especially when you are a 1337 |-|4X0R :D), practical, and constructive. But beware of courses like Computer Applications. In that class, we run through all the basic MS Office programs for 5 months. I believe we spent 6 weeks or so on MS Word. You'd be much better off taking a Computer Science course. If you cant, you might want to pick another elective.

ceramics is a blast. but take it first period, the clay is fresh.

All art electives for me. I tried Journalism twice, but none of my articles were put in the school newspaper :D . One time I got into TV Productions, but it was too much work, so I switched out of it.

We never do much work in art. It's like my "study hall".

I would advise against Yearbook as an elective though. I thought it'd be a free period but then I found out that we had to actually make the yearbook (Nobody even though of that right? -__- ). But I can't switch out of it since I already have a leadership position in it...

Haha, usually my electives are things like "PIB Chemistry" and "AP Stats." I kinda picked them because I'm at school (free school!) and it'd be a waste to get less education than I could have. Plus I like math.

Depends on what period they're offered...I wouldn't take an elective that would cause me to end up with a free period in the middle of the day...I'd rather leave school early.

Take what you like, what appeals to you. If anyone asks you why you took the classes, you can say, "because I wanted to." Also consider how much you like the teachers that teach the classes, as that can influence how much you enjoy the class.

Hahaha art is like my study hall too.

If you really can't think of anything, just go ask a teacher in your subject of preference and see if you can do independent study... or something.

ya i took journalism for my elective this year and found out something..........i hat eit :) so next year im going to take a class that will acctually help me in life......like AP stats or something....but i like math (mu alpha theta for precalc) so thts just me
