Just got a sheet of about 100 electives to choose from for next year lol... can anybody recommend a few good electives to take for somebody entering the engineering program as a freshman next year?

I’m entering engineering program as freshmen as well.

The electives I chose were interesting to me at least

here were my 5 top choices:
- Chinese
- Introduction to Human Evolution
- Logic, Reasoning, and Persuasion
- Introduction to World Literature
- Extinction

I also got the sheet and am an incoming Computer Engineer. Can anyone recommend for me an easy or “cake” elective to take? I’m really looking for one that would help boost my GPA.

death and afterlife seems like something that would be cool and idk how you could really have THAT much work in it…

creative writing or intro to poetry with kusch (350:241). both are pretty manageable As. cw is pretty much based on effort. your prof can’t fail you for bad poetry. and kusch is chill, no attendance taken, two exams, one paper.

Does it matter who the professor is for creative writing? Also how can you pick your professor? I was told that as a Freshman (at least in the Business School), you pick the classes and they choose the schedule.

death and after is extremely boring, and not as easy as you think it is. My sis took it
