Hello! I am a soon-to-be Freshman at UT when Fall 2007 rolls around. I would like to know how Electrical Engineering is at UT because that is what I am majoring in.

I've heard a lot about how hard it is and how much work you have to put into it. I'm going to be honest.. I don't study much, but I still have enough brains to be Top 10% at a pretty competitive high school. The thing is, I think EE is actually a pretty interesting field and subject (I love messing with electronics) and even though I'm pretty bad at Physics E&M -- teacher and my own laziness :( [which is why I only took the Mech section of the AP], I know I can motivate myself in college. My math skills aren't too bad, also.

It's just that right now senioritis is getting to me big time, and I'll be plenty glad to start over in college! I just want to get a glimpse of what kind of effort and work I'll have to put forth.

So if any previous EE's at UT or people who have heard things about the EE department could give me some insight, that would be awesome. :)
